HEB Promo Codes & Coupons in October 2026

Yes. The free H-E-B app is the best savings tool the store offers, so download it before your next trip. It's where digital coupons live, and they stack right on top of weekly-ad sale prices and "Price cut" tags.

Once you have it, clip the coupons you want, and they apply on their own when you log in or scan at checkout. As a savings tip, open the app while you build your shopping list and match coupons to what's already on sale that week. If you shop H-E-B often, make clipping a habit before each trip so you never miss a deal. These are digital coupons, not promo codes, so there is nothing to type in. It automatically applies.

Yes, for shoppers who visit H-E-B often and pay off their balance every month. The card earns 5% cash back on H-E-B brand products, 5% on Favor delivery orders, and 1.5% on everything else. All with a $0 annual fee.

The 5% rate only covers H-E-B and Central Market store brands. It does not apply to pharmacy, gift cards, fuel, car washes, restaurants, or the H-E-B Go app. The card is also limited to residents of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Note that the APR runs high, from 17.49% to 35.24%, so any balance carried over can quickly eat up the cash back earned. Pay it off each month, and the rewards stay in your pocket. Shoppers who mostly buy national brands or tend to carry a balance may do better with a flat-rate grocery card that gives 3% back everywhere than with the 1.5% base rate here.

The real savings come from the weekly ad, and signing up for email is the easiest way to catch it. The free H-E-B newsletter sends the weekly ad, category coupons, and multi-buy alerts straight to your inbox before your next trip.

The weekly ad is where the deepest markdowns show up, including rotating 2-Day Sale events, Meal Deal bundles, and seasonal multi-buys on featured items. Note that prices change by location, so set your local store first to see the right deals. Go to "In-store" at the top right, then "Change store."

For shoppers who like to plan ahead, build your list around the ad, then clip an app coupon on the same item to stack even more savings. Keep in mind the emails mirror the offers already in the app, so they work as a handy reminder rather than a separate discount. Create a free account under "Sign up or log in" to get started.
