More ways to save on health and beauty items
Time your vitamin purchases with buy-one-get-one sales
Many popular vitamin stores offer special buy-one-get-one sales. We’ve tracked these sales in the past at stores like CVS and Swanson. For example, in summer 2026 we saw an offer at CVS for buy one, get one 50% off Nature Made vitamins. This is the perfect time to stock up on all your supplements so you don’t have to pay full price for your next round of refills. You can save on things like melatonin, multi-vitamins, calcium, Vitamin B-12, and more.
Shop special makeup and skincare events to save up to 50% off
Don’t purchase new makeup or skincare unless there's a strong sale at the store. We also recommend becoming a rewards member at places like Sephora and Ulta. When you do, you can shop their member sales and save an additional 10-20% depending on your tiered status. You can also qualify for free shipping with no minimum depending on where you shop.
You should also check multiple retailers to see which one has the best price on the name-brand makeup or skincare you’re looking for. For example, we purchased hair growth shampoo from Ulta instead of Sephora during Black Friday because they were offering a better discount on the same product there. We paid $50 total for shampoo and conditioner instead of $65. Don’t forget to compare how many free samples you can get at each store as well.
