Meet your expert
My name's Trent, and I've been helping cigar shoppers save at Coupons.com since 2021. My best tip with JR Cigars is not to give up on a coupon if it doesn't immediately work. In my experience with JR Cigars, many coupons usually apply to a specific set or brand of cigars, so check our terms and conditions for each coupon.
About JR Cigars
JR Cigars is one of the biggest cigar sellers in the United States. They sell premium cigars and are known for their fast shipping process.
For help with an order or a coupon, you can contact their JR concierge portal at the bottom of their website. Or you can send an email to [email protected].
Buy refills instead of boxed cigars
For those of you who know exactly what kind of brand you want, we recommend refill packs to save up to 45% on the same cigars. To find them, type "Refills" in the search bar or pick "Refills" from your favorite brand's dropdown menu.
Refills come in a sealed humidor bag with freshness packs, which ensures quality stays the same. The only thing missing is the fancy gift box.

Frequently asked questions about JR Cigars
JR Plus
The JR Plus subscription offers free shipping on all orders, with a $100 yearly fee. This means that this program is for anybody who is already paying or expecting to pay over $100 in cigar shipping fees over one calendar year. Here's how the math works:
Pay $10 in shipping costs every month? That's $120 over one year, compared to free shipping and a yearly fee of $100. That's $20 off with JR Plus.
Pay $15 for shipping, every other month? That's $90 over one year, compared to free shipping and a yearly fee of $100. In this case, we'd recommend not paying the yearly fee.
Some other perks of the program include 10% off private label cigars, a free birthday gift, and early access to sales.
Earn points on every order
JR Cigars offers a free loyalty account to earn points on purchases. We like to point out that this is different from their JR Plus program, which requires a yearly fee. However, because it's free, it often takes much longer to accrue discounts. You'll get $25 off for every 1000 points you accrue.
Imstead of treating this as some new-user discount, we instead liken this program to something akin to a company credit card. The rewards program is for cigar shoppers who plan on ordering many cigars over a long period of time. If you can realistically see yourself accruing 1000 points on cigars, then this is certainly for you.
Refer friends, get $30 off
Each friend you refer earns you $30 in points after they spend over $100. Your friend also gets a $30 coupon on their first order. There's no cap on referrals.
Here's how:
Click "REFER A FRIEND" at the top of the site.
Enter your email to get your link.
Send the link to a friend.
They place an order over $100.
