Shipping and pickup options
Expedited shipping is Kay's primary method of delivery. It costs $9.95 for orders under $199 and is free on orders of $199 or more. Most orders arrive within two to four business days. To get your order sooner, choose express shipping, which costs $19.95. You'll receive your order in one to two business days. Kay has several other pickup and delivery options depending on how quickly you need your order.
Same-day in-store pickup
You can place orders online and pick up them at a local store for free. Most items are ready within four hours. Orders placed outside of business hours will be ready the following morning.
Same-day delivery
This option is available in select areas for a flat fee of $29.95. To receive your order the same day, be sure to place your order by 1 p.m. local time. You can enter your delivery address at checkout to confirm availability.
UPS Access Point
Eligible orders of $5000 or less can be shipped to a nearby UPS Access Point. Once your order arrives, you'll get an email with a pickup code that you need in order to collect your package. Orders must be picked up within seven days or they'll be returned to the sender.
Ship to store
If an item is not available at your local store, you can have it shipped to Kay for free. Wait for the "Ready for Pickup" email or text before you visit the store. Only the person who placed the order can collect it, and you need a valid photo ID is required. Orders are held for seven days.

Financing
You can finance purchases of $1500 or more at 16.99% APR for 36 months. After that, the rate will increase to 29.99%, so paying off the balance within the window will save you money. At the end of May 2026, we spotted an offer for zero down financing on purchases of $300 or more.

How to return or exchange your purchase
Kay Jewelers accepts jewelry returns within 30 days and exchanges within 60 days of purchase. Watches have a 30-day window for both. You can start returns online, but exchanges need to be done in-store. Kay processes returns within five business days, and most refunds appear on your card five to seven business days after that.
Condition requirements
Send items back in their original condition with all original packaging, instructions, and paperwork. Watches must have all their links. If you return a sized-to-order ring, the sizing fee is refunded once the return is processed.
What cannot be returned or exchanged
Custom and altered jewelry can't be returned or exchanged. This includes engraved pieces, custom designs, and special ordered watches. The same applies to ear piercing earrings, gift cards, and protection plan replacement merchandise.
Online returns
Refunds for online orders go back to your original method of payment, minus delivery fees. A free prepaid return label will be available on Kay.com. If you prefer not to use that return label, your packing slip includes one, but you'll have to pay for shipping. Returns can be dropped off at any UPS, USPS, or FedEx location. Be sure to include your packing slip and all original documents. Kay's quality assurance team inspects each return before you are issued a refund.
Refund methods
Check and cash refunds over $500 are mailed within 21 days. Gift card purchases will be refunded as a new gift card. Trade-ins will be returned as your original item or something similar.
