Meet our expert
Hello, I'm Kimi! I've been an editor with Coupons.com since 2021. I'm here to help you save on any of the custom print products you can get from Shutterfly. The easy part is that Shutterfly is always running sales to help you save on your next order. Some of my favorite offers I've seen include a 40% discount on photo books and free shipping offers that help you save on shipping for big orders.
About Shutterfly
Shutterfly is a custom printing website for everything from photo books to greeting cards. We've been partnered with Shutterfly since 2019. This means they update us early about promotions, like a discount for 40% off wall art. If you ever need help, Shutterfly provides 24/7 live chat directly on their website. You can also reach their customer service team by phone at 877-284-9610. This line is active from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PST on weekdays and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST on weekends.
People who shop here also love these brands:
Unlimited photo prints in the app
Through Shutterfly's mobile app, you get unlimited free prints in the 4x4 or 4x6 size. All you have to pay for is the shipping. App users can also create custom magnets for $2 each. You can still use most of the design and creation features found on the desktop version of the site. For example, if you ordered 25 4x4 prints outside of the app, your total would be $11. But with this in-app promo, it's just the shipping charges, which are $7. That saves you about 40%. You need to use the dedicated promo code in the app for discounts to apply. We have this offer listed on our page. Also note that shipping charges vary depending on the size of your order.
Up to 62% off when you buy in bulk
You can save up to 62% and get free shipping on bulk photo book orders. Here's how it works:
56% off 10-24 books
58% off 25-49 books
60% off 50-99 books
62% off 100+ books
To save on your bulk order, add however many photobooks you want to print to your cart. Then at checkout, apply the dedicated promo code. You can easily copy and paste this promo code from the offers on our page. Creating for multiple mediums? Use Shutterfly's “Save Project” feature to create consistent templates across mugs, cards, and calendars without redesigning from scratch.

How to Find & Stack Shutterfly Promo Codes
Looking for a discount on custom photo books, canvas prints, or personalized gifts for your loved ones? Our team expert shares the best way to save at Shutterfly, including how you can stack promo codes and cashback at checkout.

Returns at Shutterfly
If there is anything about your order that you're not satisfied with, contact Shutterfly immediately. Their customer service team will review your case and reach out about next steps to correct your issue. Errors made from Shutterfly will be fully covered and refunded. Returns made for reasons other than a Shutterfly error may receive store credit instead of a refund. This is the same for returns made over 60 days after your order date. These orders are also subject to a 50% restocking fee. To get started with a return, call (877) 846-5515. Business hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST on weekends.
How to get free shipping
Shutterfly runs free shipping promo codes. We track Shutterfly marketing emails, and they roll out twice a month, once at the beginning and once towards the middle or end. The minimum spend threshold varies. We've had codes with a minimum spend amount of $50, $89, and $99. Shutterfly also has free shipping promo codes with no minimum spend. These are active for a short period of time every few months. Whereas an offer with an $89 minimum will be active for weeks, a free shipping promo code that applies to any order is only active for a day.
For last-minute print projects, Shutterfly offers One-Hour Print Pickup at CVS or Walgreens. When you add your order to your cart, you'll see whether your items are available for free pickup under the Promos section. Large orders (100+ prints) are not available for 1-hour pickup and may take up to 24 hours. You cannot use promo codes on pickup orders, but you won't have to worry about shipping costs.
How to apply your Shutterfly promo code
To use your Shutterfly promo code at checkout, follow these steps:
Make sure your items look good and are designed exactly how you want them. Then, click "Add to Cart."
Look for the "Promos / Gift Certificates" section on the checkout page.
Drop your promo code into the field and hit Apply.
Want to try adding on another discount? Click Manage Promos to see which additional offers are eligible to use alongside your current promo code.
Be aware some promo codes are standalone offers that can't be combined with anything else. Promo codes that offer a percentage or dollar discount cannot be combined with each other. For example, you cannot stack two separate promo codes for 40% off your order. However, you can stack a 40% off promo code with one for free shipping.
How to use the newsletter bonus for an extra discount
Enter your email address in the newsletter signup box when it appears, and you'll receive the 15% off welcome coupon as usual. However, when you're prompted to enter your phone number to increase your discount, ignore and close out of this. Continue browsing on Shutterfly's site for your desired items. When we tested this, we were browsing wedding invitations and were met with another popup. It offered us 40% off all wedding items if we entered our phone number. Now is the time to enter your number. You'll receive a text and that 40% off coupon in your inbox.
We recommend using that 40% off coupon right away and saving the 15% off coupon for another sale. The 40% off coupon can't be stacked with another discount, but the 15% off coupon can. In this case, we were able to combine the coupon with an existing 40% off sale on the site.

Try out free wedding invites

They also offer free envelope addressing and address management. Through this service, you can have envelopes printed with the address already included at no extra cost.
Save up to 50% with the Special Offers tab
The Special Offers tab at Shutterfly has year-round savings. This is where you'll find promo codes for up to 50% off and free shipping. These promo codes apply to a wide array of specific items like photo books, canvas prints, mugs, and more. The items and categories on sale align with seasons and holidays. Graduation cards and thank-you notes are on sale for 40% off between April and May. While Christmas cards and custom ornaments go on sale up to 50% off in November and December. Most of these offers will change out in 1-2 weeks.
