If in-store, an AutoZone employee can help you choose the right tool for the job. You'll need to leave a deposit equal to the tool’s full retail price. If online, orders work like any regular purchase, and you can return the tool within 90 days for a full refund. After the job is done, you can return the tool by mail with a return form or drop it off at a local AutoZone store. For tools worth keeping, the original deposit covers the cost.

AutoZone Rewards is free to join and can pay off for frequent shoppers. It’s especially useful on repeat trips for maintenance basics and car-care essentials. Members earn one credit for each qualifying purchase of $20 or more before tax. After five credits, AutoZone adds a $20 reward to your account.
