How to avoid shipping fees at Old Navy
One of the easiest ways to cut shipping costs at Old Navy is joining their Encore rewards program. Rewards members get free shipping on every order over $50. Member orders under $50 have a flat shipping rate of $7.50, and non-members have a flat shipping rate of $9.50. All-access cardmembers (this requires opening a Gap credit card) have a lower threshold of $35 to get free shipping.
If there's an Old Navy store near you, you have the option to select free in-store pickup. On your shopping bag page, each item will show whether it's eligible for in-store pickup. You can also use the "Find a store" feature to locate a physical store in your area. This is important to check, as some stores may be out of stock for certain items in your cart. If that's the case, you'll need to either pick a different store or settle for shipping.
How rewards and Super Cash help you save
What you get with Encore Rewards
Encore Rewards is Old Navy's rewards program, previously known as Navyist Rewards. It's free to join, and you'll start out at the Core tier. Because it's free to join and you earn points on every order, this is recommended for most shoppers.
When you spend $350 in a year, you'll move up to the Premier tier. Premier members receive all the benefits of a core membership and additional perks.
For every 500 points, you can redeem $1 off your next order. So by making a few large orders that add up to $500 spent, you'll get a $5 reward that you can use towards a future order.
The Old Navy Encore Rewards program has a third tier for cardholders. When you open an Encore credit card, you'll receive 30% off your first order made with the card. It's important to note that this offer is only valid for 14 days after opening your card.
Who is this card for? This card is best for frequent Old Navy shoppers who can easily achieve Premiere status. It's best for shoppers who also shop at the full family of Old Navy brands: Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta. The orders you make across these brands all count towards the points and rewards you'll earn for Old Navy.
There is no annual fee, so you'll breakeven as soon as you use the card. Plus, card members get redeemable rewards faster. As a cardholder, you would need to spend $200 to earn a $10 reward on a future order.
Save more with Super Cash
Old Navy's Super Cash program is now only available to Encore members. Once you're enrolled in Encore Rewards, you'll automatically be eligible for Super Cash while you shop. When you spend at least $25 on an order, you'll receive a coupon for Super Cash that you can redeem on a future order. These discounts are as follows:

Super Cash's only exclusion is that it can't be used on gift cards. Other than that, it can be combined with existing offers. For example, when Old Navy ran a sitewide sale for 50% off in summer 2026, we filled our cart with discounted items until it hit $50. We were then able to apply a previously earned Super Cash coupon to take $20 off that order.
