When you join the email and SMS lists, you’ll get a welcome email with a discount code for 25% off your first regular-priced order. In that email, you’ll also get an offer for 30% back in Bonus Rewards when you join the rewards program.

So, let’s say you spend $50 on your first purchase. You’ll get $15 back in Bonus Rewards after you place your first order. Then, you can use that cashback on a future purchase at Office Depot.

To claim your welcome offer:

1. Click the "Sign up for Exclusive Offers" button at the top of OfficeDepot.com

2. Enter your information on the next page

3. Click “Submit”

Your coupon arrives in your inbox shortly after. Getting an error during signup means you're already in the system. Double-check that you aren't already signed up or logged into an existing account, then try again.

Once subscribed, you'll receive daily deals by email. Looking at the emails we’ve gotten so far in 2026,  they’ve covered up to 30% off reams of paper, 10% back in Bonus Rewards on desks and cabinets, up to $250 off new computers, and more.

Office Depot's Top Deals page refreshes each week with new markdowns. We update our page to reflect the best offers from this page, so check back to catch new deals before they rotate out.

Deals are organized by category, including clearance, paper, furniture, chairs and seating, office supplies, mailing and shipping, breakroom, and cleaning products. When we reviewed the page in May, they were promoting 60% back in Bonus Rewards on all Duracell batteries and 10% off all filing folders above the fold.

Office Depot's Coupon Center includes a Free Gifts with Purchase section where you can add a product or eGift card to your order at no cost, based on how much you spend. These coupons are combinable, meaning you can apply a gift with purchase code alongside other eligible offers on the same order.

August offers included:

• $15 Uber/Lyft Card with $75 or more qualifying purchase

• $10 Visa Card with $75 or more qualifying purchase

• Free $24 movie admissions with $150 or more qualifying purchase

Spending tiers start at $75 and go up to $500, so there's a free gift option at a range of order sizes.

To claim one:

1. Browse the Gifts with Purchase page

2. Select the gift you want

3. Add the coupon to your cart.

Offers are not valid in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Quantities are limited while supplies last.

To sign up for Office Depot's OfficeMax rewards program, create an account at OfficeDepot.com or at the register in-store and opt in. New members receive a welcome email with a coupon for 30% back in Bonus Rewards on their first qualifying purchase, which can be applied to a future order.

Once enrolled, you can earn:

• 2% back in rewards on select purchases

• $2 back per cartridge when you recycle ink cartridges (with a qualifying $10 order)

• $2 back for each approved product review, up to 3 per month

After spending $500 in a year, you reach VIP status. VIPs earn 5% back in rewards, get free two-day delivery with no minimum, and receive more exclusive offers.

Bonus rewards rotate weekly, paying higher percentages on categories like ink and toner, office furniture, and printers. New offers post every Monday, and any bonus rewards you earn appear in your account the next day. Checking each week helps you time purchases to categories with higher earn rates.

Office Depot’s rewards program benefits both frequent and casual shoppers. Those spending over $500 annually and regularly buying ink and toner reap the most rewards, but even occasional customers can save, especially if they focus on non-purchase activities like writing reviews.

Office Depot has a discount program for teachers, military personnel, veterans, and their families to receive a 20% off coupon for one purchase.

To sign up:

1. Start on the Office Depot Rewards page and find your qualifying profession

2. Click "Get Verified Now" to proceed to the verification page

3. Click the "Verify with ID.me" button and follow the on-screen instructions

4. Provide your relevant documentation when prompted

5. Once verified, you'll receive an email with your coupon and gain online access to your exclusive savings and benefits

The 20% off can be applied to full-price or sale items, but does not apply to:

• Clearance, closing store purchases, and sale-priced case paper

• Gift and prepaid cards

• Technology, consumer electronics, accessories, and software

• Performance protection plans

• Postage, mailing, and shipping services

• Ink, toner, and electronic labelers/labeling accessories

• Appliances, JanSport products, and simplehuman products

• Subscription services

• All other services, including off-site shredding, tech, furniture, marketing, administrative, and third-party services

• Bulk and promotional items, such as items sold by the pallet and free gifts

The coupon on the Office Depot website shows an expiration date of July 2026. However, in our experience, this offer has consistently been available and appears to function as an evergreen program. It's worth checking back if you miss the listed date.

On top of the given discount, you are also signed up to earn 25% back in Bonus Rewards on qualifying purchases. Members can earn up to $100 in rewards each week, which is a genuinely nice bonus on top of the initial discount.

Business Select members receive up to 20% off thousands of products, including paper, cleaning supplies, and chairs, for an annual fee of $49. Our team reviewed this program to determine whether the benefits justify the cost.

Upon enrollment, members receive:

• $50 in Service Depot Dollars for computer setup and repair, pack and ship services, and print services (excluding same-day business cards)

• Up to 20% off everyday pricing on thousands of eligible products

• Free two-business-day delivery with no minimum order in the contiguous 48 U.S. states

• $3 in Depot Dollars monthly for recycling ink and toner cartridges (requires a qualifying $10 monthly purchase)

The $49 annual fee for the Business Select membership can be offset by a combination of enrollment perks, product discounts, and recycling rewards:

• At enrollment, the $50 in Service Depot Dollars immediately offsets the $49 fee.

• Through product discounts, spending at least $245 annually on eligible products recovers the fee via the 20% discount.

• With ink recycling, recycling cartridges while making qualifying $10 monthly purchases earns $36 per year, reducing the effective membership cost to $13.

That said, Business Select members can't participate in the regular Office Depot Rewards program, and Business Select discounts don't combine with promotional pricing or coupons. Instead, you receive whichever provides better value. The nonrefundable $49 fee may not make sense beyond your first year if you primarily shop during promotions or won't spend over $245 per year. Visit the Business Select program page to learn more and enroll.

In September 2026, Office Depot is promoting their Clear the Floor clearance event, a sale boasting deep discounts on in-store clearance items. Since this is an in-store clearance sale, the deals are hyper-local, meaning they’ll vary by what each location has in stock.

At the top of their website, where it says “My Store”, you can set your store to whichever physical location you’d like to shop. Then, head to the In-Store Clearance page to see that location’s top clearance items.

We popped in on a few different locations and saw items discounted by as much as 92%. For example:

• At a store in West Covina, California, they were promoting items as low as $0.99 with 90% off Caribou Blend coffee, 72% off Ativa Bluetooth Magnetic Earbuds, and 59% off an 84+CE Rose Gold Graphing Calculator.

• At a store in Austell, Georgia, they were promoting items as low as $0.33 with 92% off Book Sox Jumbo Solid Covers, 91% off a Picture Hanger Sawtooth 3-pack, and 78% off a stereo headphone splitter.

While we curate a selection of offers for online shoppers, we also wanted to share this opportunity for a good in-store deal.
