It lists ratings on a scale from 1 to 10 based on factors like ticket cost, seat location, historical pricing, expected sightlines, and how the listing compares with other available tickets for the event. It's designed to help balance cost and seat quality rather than simply showing you the cheapest ticket that's available. This can help you avoid overpaying for seats that may not be worth the cost.
A higher Deal Score means the ticket is considered to have a stronger value overall. For example, an $80 ticket with a Deal Score of 9.2 may be a better buy than a $70 ticket with a Deal Score of 6.4 if the seat location or overall experience offsets the slightly higher price.

How your tickets are delivered
SeatGeek uses All-In Pricing, which means most mandatory fees are included in the ticket price you see. Delivery fees and optional services may be added at checkout and depends on the event and ticket type. You will see any additional charges before your purchase is completed.
Electronic and mobile tickets are delivered digitally for free. Depending on the event, tickets will appear directly in your SeatGeek account. They can also be accessed through a league, team, or third-party ticketing app. Some tickets are available immediately after you buy them, while others are released 24 to 48 hours before the start of your event. To view your tickets, open your order details in the "Tickets" section of your account. You'll be able to see the delivery destination before checkout. Note that this cannot be changed after purchase.
Ticket delivery methods vary by event:
NFL tickets: Regular season and Super Bowl tickets are delivered as mobile-only tickets to your SeatGeek account and must be displayed through the SeatGeek app.
MLB tickets: Delivered through the MLB Ballpark app, which is the official app used for entry at MLB ballparks. Tickets may also appear in the SeatGeek app for select teams.
AXS tickets: Some venues require delivery through AXS, a third-party ticketing platform. These tickets appear in your AXS account. They must be displayed in the AXS app or mobile website.
Physical/hardstock tickets: Paper or cardstock tickets are shipped via UPS or FedEx. For physical tickets, a shipping fee may apply. Tickets ship a few weeks prior to the event, but the timing varies and may be as close as one to two days before the event. Once your tickets ship, you'll receive a tracking number.
Wearable credentials: Some events, like multi-day festivals, conferences, and golf tournaments, use wristbands, badges, or lanyards. These credentials can be shipped before the event or will be available for pickup at will call. Check your order confirmation for the delivery method.
Local pickup: Tickets can be picked up in person at the venue's will call window or a local ticket office. They'll be available on the day of the event. You'll receive pickup details including location, hours, and required identification as the event gets closer. Local pickup is rare, but it's required for some events.
Where to find promo codes and discounts
SeatGeek offers promo codes for $10 off orders of $150 or more for first-time users, available on the Promo Codes page. Outside of that, the Promo Codes page doesn't maintain an extensive list of active offers, so in our experience, it's not a reliable source for returning customers. Eligible discounts usually appear automatically at checkout or are delivered via email or app notifications.
Signing up for the newsletter is another way to receive discounts. SeatGeek runs special promotions and sends promo codes to subscribers around holidays. Codes are valid for a limited time, lasting for about five days. The discount is also limited to a set amount, usually $25. Be sure to check your email around the 4th of July, Presidents' Day, New Year's, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Labor Day. A code we received in a July 2026 email saved us 20% on sports tickets. Other promo codes we have received include 20% off (May), and 15% off (February).

How to use SeatGeek promo codes
You can apply promo codes in your account settings or at checkout on both the app and website. After you sign in, follow these steps:
In the SeatGeek app:
Open the app
Hit "Me" in the bottom navigation bar
Tap "Enter Promo Code"
Type or paste your promo code and hit "Done"
At checkout, click "Have a Code" and select the one you want to apply. Or, click "Add Code" to enter a new one
On the SeatGeek website:
Hover over your account icon in the top right corner
Click "My Account"
Click "Promo Codes"
Tap the "Add Promo Codes" button to add one to your account
At checkout, click "Add Promo Code," select the code you want to use, and click "Add"
