When an Instacart order is missing an item or has a mistake, there is an easy fix. You can easily request a refund in the app or on the website. You can choose to either get a replacement item, get a credit toward your next order, or get money back to your original form of payment. For frequent Instacart shoppers, a credit may be easier because it tends to show up in your account quicker than a refund is processed back onto your card.
