PlanetBox was founded in 2009 in California by parents Robert and Caroline Miros. They were frustrated that they could not find a plastic-free lunchbox for their kids. So, they designed the stainless-steel rover to fix that. In 2018, the company was acquired by Lifetime Brands and relocated to Seattle, where it is now based. PlanetBox runs a free, points-based rewards program with tiers. You do not need to buy anything to join, and it is open to everyone except resellers and employees. The saver-friendly part is that it is a lifetime program, so points never expire, and tier perks stay with you.
There are several ways to build points:
