Shipping, delivery and pickup
Gap offers basic, standard, express, and priority shipping within the U.S. Free shipping thresholds vary by membership tier. Non-members pay $7.50 for basic shipping (five to eight business days) and $9.50 for standard shipping (two to five business days). Core members get free basic shipping on orders over $50 and pay $7.50 for standard. Premier members and All-Access members without the Gap Inc. Credit Card get free basic and standard shipping on orders over $50. All-Access members with the Gap Inc. Credit Card get free basic and standard shipping on orders over $35.
For faster delivery, choose express shipping. It costs $18 and orders arrive in two to three business days. Or select priority shipping for $25, which arrives in one to two business days. These rates apply to all customers regardless of tier.
Gap also offers free in-store pickup. It's available at participating locations and orders are ready within about two hours. Check your email for confirmation that your order is ready for pickup. You'll need a valid ID and your order confirmation. Orders not picked up within five days will be canceled and refunded.
What to know about the return policy
Gap accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of the delivery date for online orders and from the date of in-store purchase. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have tags attached. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Most online orders can be returned for free by mail using the prepaid return label or QR code, or in person at a Gap store. In-store returns are only accepted at the same brand where the item was originally purchased. Online Gap purchases cannot be returned to other Gap Inc. brand stores. Refunds go back to your original method of payment once the return is processed.
Final sale and marketplace items can't be returned. Some marketplace and third-party purchases may also be excluded from Gap's standard return policy. Refund processing times vary depending on your original method of payment.
You can exchange items for free. The original item is returned first, then a new order is placed for the replacement. Remember that final sale items can't be returned, so it's worth checking the product details before you buy.

Gap Encore Credit Card vs. free membership
The Gap Encore Credit Card comes in two versions:
A store card that can only be used at Gap Inc. brands
A Gap Encore Mastercard, which can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted
Both versions automatically provide All-Access tier status, but only the Mastercard can be used outside Gap Inc. stores.

What is GapCash?
To earn GapCash, make a qualifying purchase of $50 or more at Gap, Gap Factory, or a participating Gap brand during the earning period. GapCash is automatically added to your account or sent to you as a coupon code after the purchase.
Then, you redeem it during a separate redemption window. Savings apply at checkout based on your total spend, with tiered discounts like $20 off $50+, $40 off $100+, and higher values for larger orders.
What you need to know
GapCash is available only to Gap Encore members and has to be earned and redeemed during the specified promotional windows. It can only be used at Gap and Gap Factory. One GapCash coupon can be redeemed per transaction, and any unused value is forfeited after the redemption window closes. GapCash can't be combined with most other offers or coupons and is not valid on gift cards, shipping fees, taxes, or prior purchases. The discount is spread across all eligible items in your order.
How to receive GapCash
After you make a qualifying purchase, GapCash is issued electronically or added to your Encore account. Online orders must be placed while you're signed in to your account. You may be required to provide your Encore account information at in-store checkout.
