Our guide to using Loco Rewards for savings
Loco Rewards is El Pollo Loco's loyalty program, where you can earn points on your orders and then redeem them for free food or discounts. You can join through the El Pollo Loco app or website and earn points on orders placed in their app, on their website, or in a physical restaurant.
New members receive a coupon for $5 off their first $10 order and free chips and guacamole with a $5 purchase for joining.
How to earn and redeem points
As a member, you’ll earn points for every $1 spent. To earn points in a restaurant, open the “Scan” tab in the app and scan the QR code at the register before paying. For online orders, you just need to be signed in when placing an order.
These points can be redeemed for free food or up to $10 off an order. To redeem a reward, go to the Rewards tab, select the reward, and choose "Redeem in Store" to scan the QR code or add the reward at checkout for online orders.
Rewards become accessible at set point thresholds:
3500 points gets you a large drink, 2 churros, or a Taco al Carbon
6500 points gets you any large side, regular chips and guacamole, or $5 off
10,500 points gets you a 2-piece leg and thigh meal, a chicken tostada salad, or a chicken avocado burrito
12,500 points gets you a double chicken tostada, a 3-piece leg and thigh meal, or $10 off
Member status tiers
Loco Rewards has three status tiers. As members accumulate points, they move up through the tiers, which increase the points earned per dollar and the value of the annual birthday reward:
At Pollito status (entry level), every $1 spent equals 100 points, and you get a $5 birthday reward
At Pollo status (20,000 points), every $1 spent equals 110 points, and you get a $5 birthday reward
At Pollo Loco status (40,000 points), every $1 spent equals 120 points, and you get a $10 birthday reward
Across all tiers, members receive free food, personalized offers, exclusive content and experiences, early access to select menu items, a birthday gift, and a status gift.
Program rules and limitations
