How to return products at PetMeds
PetMeds' return policy terms depend on the product you’re returning. The only items you can't return are:
Vaccines
Refrigerated medications
Compound medications
Drop-shipped products
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, report it within 72 hours of delivery. They'll review it on a case-by-case basis and may exchange it or provide a credit or refund.
Their customer service team works six days a week (closed on Sunday) and is reachable via phone or email to address your issues.
Returning over-the-counter products
For over-the-counter items like flea treatments, toys, and supplements, you get free returns for a full year. However, the type of refund you receive changes based on when you send the item back:
Returning an item within 90 days of it shipping gets you a refund to your original payment method.
For returns made after 90 days, they offer a merchandise credit up to the amount paid to use toward a future order. Store credits can't be combined with promos.
Returning prescription medications
Prescription medications work differently because of pharmacy regulations. PetMeds offers prorated refunds for up to 30 days after shipping. Contact them directly for instructions on returning or properly discarding the medication.
