Head in-store to save $11.99 on returns
We read TJ Maxx's return policy in June 2026. Go to your nearest TJ Maxx store to return instead of paying the $11.99 fee. Online orders can be returned within 40 days, and in-store purchases within 30 days. Returning items in-store is free. You need to bring your Shipping Confirmation email (printed or on your phone) and the original packaging your items arrived in. For mail returns, there is an $11.99 fee. You can start your return online through the TJ Maxx returns portal.
Returns within the window are refunded to your original payment method. After the timeframe, you will get a store credit. Items must be unwashed, unused, and with the original tags. Return in-store within 30 days of purchase or 40 days of delivery to save the $11.99 mail fee.
Save 10% when you open a TJX Rewards credit card
Apply for the TJX Rewards credit card in-store or online, and get 10% off your first in-store purchase. That is $20 off a $200 purchase. You'll also join the TJX Rewards program, where you earn points on every purchase.
You'll earn 5% back on every purchase in TJX Rewards. That’s five points for every $1 spent, and 1,000 points earn you a $10 Rewards Certificate. Points show in your account within 48 hours and can be used at checkout online or in-store. You’re not limited to shopping at TJ Maxx, either. You can earn and redeem TJX Rewards at Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and HomeSense.

The TJX Rewards card and the TJX Rewards Platinum Mastercard are two different cards. The Mastercard can be used anywhere, which earns you points faster.
