The second is the Sale Price Guarantee. If your item drops in price within 30 days of your purchase, Steep & Cheap will credit you the difference. However, there is one condition. Your exact size and color must still be in stock when you ask. Since prices here change often, it helps to check your recent orders every week or so during that 30-day window. You have 30 days to return items, and they must be new, unused, and in original condition with tags and packaging. That window is useful for trying on the fit at home, which helps a lot when you are buying boots or a shell that you cannot try on first. Just keep in mind that returning gear is not free.

Big items are the trap here since they cost more to send back, and the amount depends on the item. Oversized products like bikes and large bike bags carry a flat $25 return fee that comes out of your refund. True freight items are a separate case. Kayaks, surfboards, SUP boards, cargo boxes, car racks, and indoor bikes have no set return price, and you have to call a Gearhead for a quote before you ship anything back. For comparison, freight returns at other outdoor retailers can run anywhere from $125 to $300. So make sure to double-check your order before you buy to avoid a bigger deduction than you expected on your refund.
