Invicta's Care Protection plan is not for everyone
Every new Invicta watch comes with a three-year manufacturer's warranty. This covers mechanical and electrical defects. That's a strong start, so the first question to ask is whether the added plan covers something the warranty does not. The main gap the plan fills is accidental damage. This includes drops, breaks, and cracked crystals, which the warranty leaves out.
In our opinion, the plan is worth it when the watch would be expensive for you to replace without extra coverage. It also makes sense for watches worn daily or during active use, where drops and dings are likely. Shoppers who care more about accidental damage than defects may want it too.
On the other hand, it's fine to skip the plan when the watch is on the lower end of Invicta's price range and is easy to replace. And if the main concern is a defect, the three-year warranty already has that covered.
