Tempo by Home Chef uses a different cutoff of Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. CT, so check the brand on your account if you subscribe to both.
Once the cutoff passes, the order is finalized and the ingredients are sourced. Home Chef cannot cancel or refund orders that are already finalized, processed, or shipped because the food is perishable. We recommend waiting for the confirmation email after pausing or canceling, since that is your proof that the change was saved.
As soon as your plans shift, you go on vacation, or you still have meals left in the fridge, log in and skip the upcoming week or pause the account. Pausing keeps your account and any lifetime perks active. If you cancel fully and later return, some recurring perks may not be reinstated.
