Competitive Cyclist Promo Codes & Offers in October 2026

Q: How can I score a first order discount?

Sign up for their email list. When you join, you’ll get a 15% off coupon for your first order. We signed up a long time back, and have seen many coupons since then. These have often been for 20% off, so even better than the sign-up coupon. To sign up, head to their website and scroll to the bottom of the page. There, you can enter your email in the newsletter textbox, then hit “Sign Up."

Q: Is there a way to get free shipping?

You’ll get free shipping on orders of $69 or more within the contiguous U.S. When you place your order before 3pm MST, it usually ships the same day. Weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day.

Easy returns at Competitive Cyclist

New, unused gear can be returned within 90 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. If that method is unavailable, you’ll receive store credit instead. Items must be in the condition you received them, with the original box, packaging, and manufacturer tags attached.

Used gear can be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit. Bikes and bike frames must be undamaged to qualify. But credits for frames and bikes after use are a good deal. Items damaged from negligence, abuse, or heavy use can’t be returned.

For easy shipping, Competitive Cyclist offers a $8.99 FedEx return label. This flat-rate cost for a potentially bulky item is a good deal. You can access prepaid labels directly through your account for fast, stress-free returns.

Frequently asked questions about Competitive Cyclist

How can I score a first order discount?

Is there a way to get free shipping?

Who can get the Hero discount?

They give particular groups 20% off full-price gear. Eligible groups include medical providers, first responders, teachers, active-duty military, and veterans. This discount is better than the one for signing up and is additional to that. It is also a good deal compared to outdoor brands that we have seen, which offer 10-15% discounts.

To claim the discount, verify your status with ID.me on the "Special Group Offers" page or at checkout.

Ride more, earn more with the Summit Club

The Loyalty Program provides the single best aspect of saving at Competitive Cyclist, as it should. Summit+ Club members pay $49 annually and earn a full 10% back in store credit on all full-price purchases. Big bike spenders would get $500 back in store credit on a $5000 bike.

With Summit+, you also receive free shipping on orders over $150 and a 20% off coupon code as a birthday reward. Alternatively, with the free basic Summit Club, you get a 10% off birthday coupon code for no cost.

Credits show up in your account once your order ships and stay valid for 12 months.
