Balsam Hill Coupons in October 2026

Yes. They will match the lower price if an item you bought is discounted on their website within 14 days of your purchase date. To claim it, contact their customer service team and request the credit before the window closes. Note that the policy does not apply if a coupon code was applied or if a sitewide clearance sale begins.

For example, you spent $999 for a tree and see it drop to $849 eight days later, you can request a $150 credit for the difference. Balsam Hill typically issues this as a credit to your original payment method.

The best time to use this policy is when you're buying just before a seasonal sale. For example, you can buy a tree in mid-November just before Black Friday, then request an adjustment if the same item drops within two weeks.

The 45-minute virtual design consultation costs $50 upfront, but Balsam Hill credits that fee back on any purchase of $500 or more made within 60 days of your session.

This works best for shoppers planning a full setup, like a tree with a matching wreath and garland. In that case, the $50 turns into free expert advice on style, size, and color, since you get the fee back as credit on your order.

But for those who are buying just one item under $500, or who already know what they want, the consultation may not be worth booking. In our opinion, you can check their product pages, size guides, and customer service for basic questions. Especially since it's free.

They allow returns within 30 days of delivery, but there’s also a holiday cutoff to keep in mind. This means that you must start the return within 30 days or by December 25, whichever comes first.

For shoppers who are buying seasonal décor early, make sure to open the box and check the item right away. Waiting too long can push you past the December 25 deadline, even when you're still within the 30-day window.

For shoppers whose order arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, contact Balsam Hill as soon as you can. Return shipping fees may be waived in those cases.

For other returns where you just changed your mind, expect a return shipping fee to be taken from your refund. Based on their Order Help page, small-item return labels are often around $15. Larger shipments, like trees that ship in multiple boxes, can cost more per box.

Some items are not eligible for return, including perishable products like greenery or food, so it’s worth double-checking eligibility before ordering whenever you're not sure whether you’ll keep them.
