From the inside out: What working here really feels like
Deeper connections, a customer-focused drive, and a global team that feels close. These are the things I’ve found to make a difference in my work at Coupons.com.

Starting a new job comes with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. You learn the tools, get familiar with the processes, and slowly figure out where you fit. But sometimes, what surprises you most isn't the workflow or the platform. Sometimes, it's the people and the purpose behind the work.
I'm Geovanna, and I work as a Sales Operations Specialist for Coupons.com. My day-to-day involves working closely with our commercial team, building sales campaigns, and managing what goes live on our website. It's hands-on work with real impact, and I wanted to share three things that genuinely caught me off guard when I stepped into this role.
The partnership runs very deep
Before joining, I assumed I'd be one piece of a large machine, doing my part and passing work along. But I was wrong in the best way possible. What I found was something different. The collaboration here isn't just a talking point. It's built into how decisions get made and how problems get solved.
Working directly with the commercial team means you see the full picture quickly. Everyone has a stake in getting things right, and that shared accountability creates a kind of momentum that's hard to explain until you experience it. People at Coupons.com actually want each other to succeed.
The focus on the consumer is real
That sounds simple, but it matters here. This team thinks about the people on the other side of the screen, the ones comparing prices, planning a trip, or trying to stretch a budget further. After all, we are these people, too. When your day-to-day work connects to something that genuinely helps people, it changes how you show up. And I see this in each of my colleagues, from savings editors to our Managing Director.
I work on campaigns and website content, so I know how much thought goes into every detail of what our audience encounters when they come to Coupons.com. There's a genuine effort to help people make the best purchasing decisions, and honestly, it's contagious. I say that because after I joined the team, I became a much smarter consumer myself as I learned more and more about the world of coupons. Not more or less of a spender, but definitely smarter.
That may sound like something every company like ours says. But I’ve found that the people behind Coupons.com really mean it. I know that through the questions people ask when we’re in a meeting. Before anything gets published on our site, for example, everyone is concerned with how it gets to you. Is this clear? Is this actually useful to someone trying to save money? These are the things people I work with are obsessed with. That kind of thinking shapes the way you work and makes you want to do your level best.
Remote, but never distant
I work from home mostly, and as a Brazilian girl joining an international team, that was something I thought about a lot before I started. Would I feel connected? Would I understand the company culture? After all, most of the people I work with are in the US, Malaysia, or the UK.
The answer turned out to be yes more easily than I expected. Communication is consistent, people check in genuinely rather than just for status updates, and there's a warmth to how the team operates that translates even through a screen.
So if you've ever wondered what it's like working behind the scenes at Coupons.com, what the culture is like, it's pretty exciting. You know you're part of something bigger than yourself, something meaningful. At least that's what surprised me when joining the team, and I'm really happy that it did.
The Clip is where the people behind Coupons.com get to speak plainly. No press releases. No corporate polish. Just honest stories from people who think hard every day about helping you spend less and keep more.
Geovanna was part of the Coupons.com team from 2024 until 2026 and helped shape how people discover and use deals across the site. She was based in our São Paulo office and worked on our marketing campaigns, making sure everything looked great, felt easy to navigate, and helped users quickly spot the best savings.
She especially enjoyed working on seasonal campaigns and finding ways to make the savings experience smoother and more rewarding.
