Tumi 5-year limited warranty coverage
Every Tumi bag comes with a 5-year limited warranty. It protects your bag from daily wear, defects, and travel damage. To turn on your coverage, register your TUMI Tracer number through your Tumi account first. Once you're signed up, your warranty kicks in based on these tiers:
Year One: Full coverage on most items. This includes daily use, airline damage, and general travel wear
Years Two to Five: Covers defects and normal wear on travel bags, business cases, cross-body bags, totes, backpacks, and handbags. Airline and travel damage are not covered after year one
Wallets & Accessories: Covered through year two only.
If your damage is covered, Tumi will fix the item for free. If the bag can't be fixed, Tumi will replace it or help you pick a similar one.
Steps to file a Tumi warranty claim
Log in to your Tumi account and check that your TUMI Tracer is registered.
Email [email protected] with your Tracer number, order details, and clear photos of the damage.
Tumi's team will review your claim and set up a free repair or replacement.

Each bag has a unique 20-digit Tracer number on a metal plate sewn inside the lining. You need to register this number to turn on the recovery service. It also unlocks your full Tumi warranty.
