Every TopResume package includes up to two free revisions, so you can refine your first draft without paying for a second service or hiring an outside editor. This applies to all three paid tiers.
Once you receive your first draft, you have seven business days to submit feedback. Your assigned writer handles up to two rounds of edits based on your notes. This is all managed inside their client portal. After you approve the final version, the portal stores your completed files in Word and PDF formats for future download.
Individual resume editors and third-party proofreading services can cost upwards of $50 per edit. With this perk, you can format or change the wording without having to spend extra.
To get the most out of this benefit, review your first draft carefully within the seven-day window. Then submit all your requested changes in one batch. This uses one revision round instead of two and leaves the second round available if you need further adjustments after the first update.
Send out up to 50 resumes for free
TopResume offers a feature that sends your resume directly to up to 50 targeted recruiters based on your industry, role, and location. First-time users can sign up for the trial through the Resume Distribution page. Paid resume distribution services can charge anywhere from $50 to $100 or more for a similar blast. The free trial lets you skip that upfront cost entirely.
With it, you can track your results inside your account dashboard. This will show which recruiters received your resume, along with their names, locations, and company details.
An important thing to note is that the trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial window ends. To avoid the recurring charge, cancel the subscription in your account portal. You can do this under Billing/Subscriptions.
Keep in mind that since your resume lands in recruiters' inboxes, response rates can be lower than directly applying to posted roles.
