Norwegian Cruise Line Promo Codes & Offers in October 2026

Yes, Norwegian Cruise Line's Military Appreciation Program gives eligible members 10% off all cruise fares and 20% off select cruises and staterooms. The discount is open to verified active-duty service members, veterans, spouses, and surviving spouses. It's limited to one stateroom per military member sailing. It can stack with NCL's current promotions however, exclusions may apply.

To get the discount, sign in or create a My NCL account. Then verify your military status through ID.me before you make your booking. After verification, you'll see the discount when you're logged in to the website.

Norwegian Cruise Line has a tiered cancellation policy, and you can end up paying up to 100% of your fare if you wait too long. This means fees increase as your sail date gets closer. Here's how much you may have to pay for cancelling Club Balcony Suites and lower-tier staterooms:

• 119 to 91 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee

• 90 to 61 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee

• 60 to 31 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee

• 30 days or less before departure: 100% cancellation fee

There is a different cancellation schedule for The Haven, Suites, and Garden Villas. Cancellations made 60 days or less before your departure date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Fees can also apply to airfare, transfers, land packages, and other add-ons. Changes to your name and departure date are also treated as cancellations and may be subject to applicable fees. NCL doesn't issue refunds for no-shows, cancellations, or interruptions after the cruise has started. If you need to cancel your trip, we recommend doing it as early as possible. The earlier you cancel, the less money you'll owe in fees.

Free at Sea is Norwegian Cruise Line’s add-on package that can include benefits like unlimited drinks, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, and shore excursion credits. The benefits can vary depending on the cruise and current promotion.

Free at Sea can be added during booking. If it isn't added at that time, you can add it through your My NCL account or by calling Norwegian Cruise Line. This can be done up to 24 hours before you sail.

According to our research, the included benefits can have a value of more than $2000 per stateroom, but the package value varies by cruise. Additional costs can apply, including service charges and costs for anything outside of the promotional benefits. The actual value also depends on the benefits included, and savings depend on how much you would otherwise spend on them individually.

The package makes the most sense if you plan to buy drinks, use the Wi-Fi, or book specialty dining anyway. If you don't plan to use most of these kinds of benefits, you may end up paying for things you won't need.
