Meta gives verified university students and educators 10% off Quest headsets and Ray-Ban Meta glasses through its Education Purchase Program. The discount runs across the full Quest hardware line.

Verification happens at meta.com/purchase-program/education. You'll register or sign in with a valid .edu email issued by your school. Then Meta will send a confirmation link to unlock the pricing. The discount is only available to currently enrolled students or current employees of an accredited U.S. educational institution. Alumni do not qualify.

A few rules to know before you buy. It cannot be combined with other Meta offers, discounts, bundles, or coupons unless Meta says otherwise. The discount is non-transferable and isn't valid for cash or cash equivalent, which means you can't use it on a gift purchase that goes through a non-verified account.

Meta also runs a separate 5% student discount through Student Beans, but only on Meta Quest hardware. Ray-Ban Meta glasses are excluded. Between the two, the Education Purchase Program is the clear winner for almost every student. The 10% direct discount saves more on every Quest model and also covers Ray-Ban Meta.
