Your guide to Kroger returns
Most items can be returned within 30 days at any Kroger store, and in-store returns are free. This includes Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, and Harris Teeter.
With a receipt, paper or digital, your refund goes back to the same payment method you used. However, check purchases are refunded as cash.
No receipt is okay too. Items under $10 are refunded in cash. Items over $10 come back on a Kroger gift card, and you will need to sign the return slip.
A few things follow special rules
WIC (women, infants, and children) items cannot be refunded, but you can exchange them for the same item
Baby formula needs a receipt for any refund or exchange. Formula bought with WIC cannot be returned under USDA rules, though you can swap it for the same product if it is damaged
Gift cards, taxes, and fees are not refundable. Tobacco, beer, wine, and alcohol follow your local laws.
If you have the item and receipt in hand, the service desk is your fastest option. For pickup and delivery orders, go to "my purchases" on the app or website, pick your order, and choose "request a refund." Online EBT (electronic benefit transfer) refunds are not available yet, so call 1-800-576-4377.

How to apply your Kroger promo code
Kroger allows one promo code per order, and the discount comes off at checkout once you apply it. The only exception is a code that clearly states it can be combined for extra savings.
But first, you'll need to log in to your account to start adding items to your cart.
On desktop:
Add your items to the cart and head to the checkout page.
When you reach the payment details, find the order summary on the right side of the page.
Look for the "Enter Promo Code" box, then paste in your code.
Hit "Apply" to take off the discount.
On the app:
Fill your cart and move on to checkout.
Find the order summary and tap the drop-down link to open it.
A promo code box will appear, so enter your code there.
