When you're ready to cancel, use the "Cancel Reservation" form on Gate 1's Contact Us page. A phone call alone doesn't count. Fees are also based on the date your written request is received, so don't sit on the form once you've decided.

Booking with one other person? Factor in the single supplement cost before you commit. Once your travel companion cancels, you move to single occupancy. That supplement then gets added on top of any cancellation fee already owed.

Airfare fees are a separate story. They're set by the airline, usually around $300 per person. Some fare types are fully non-refundable.
