Burlap & Barrel Promo Codes in October 2026

Yes, and there are two ways to get it. You can hit the $55 order minimum or join the Spice Club.

Orders of $55 or more ship free anywhere in the US. Under that, shipping is a flat $7.99 no matter the size, so a small one-jar order and one just under $55 cost the same to send. If you're restocking the pantry anyway, the easy move is to put the spices you already need into one order and clear $55, instead of splitting them into two orders that each get charged. That also means a single box to track, not two smaller ones showing up days apart.

The Spice Club takes the math off your plate, since every box ships free with no minimum. For anyone who orders from Burlap & Barrel a lot, this is where that $7.99 fee goes away for good.

Burlap & Barrel runs a Give $10, Get $10 program. Your friend gets $10 off their first order, and you get $10 toward your next one once they buy.

To find your link, sign in to your Burlap & Barrel account and click Refer a Friend in the site header or footer, which sits in the same spot on mobile and desktop. Share the link by email, text, or social, and anyone who taps it lands on a page with the $10-off credit already applied.

Since $10 is a flat amount and not a percentage, it goes furthest on a smaller first order. So if your friend is just testing the water with a jar or two, that first order can feel close to free.

Yes, new subscribers get a free gift on their first order when they join the email list. The gift changes over time, and so does any order minimum tied to it, so check the current offer before you buy to know what you're aiming for. To claim it, sign up through the pop-up or the email box at the bottom of the site, then make sure the free item is in your cart before you check out.

The list is also how you catch spices before they sell out. Burlap & Barrel makes its spices in small batches, and the newsletter sends back-in-stock alerts along with new-product news, recipes, and farmer stories. So if there's a spice you keep meaning to try, the email is the easiest way to know the second it's back, instead of checking the site on your own.

Yes, the site has 200+ free recipes you can filter by meal, spice, or diet. A spice you buy and never cook with is money sitting in the cabinet. Ground spices also fade faster than whole ones, usually within a couple of years, because more of their surface sits exposed to air and light. So the longer a jar waits, the less you get for what you paid. These recipes help you use up jars while they still taste good, which means fewer half-empty spices tossed and rebought later. When you tend to buy a spice for one recipe and then forget about it, the recipe filter is an easy way to get full use out of what you already paid for.
