Wind Down Your Day With WestLab Supersalt, Now at Walgreens!

We’ve all been there. Eight hours of work turned into eight hours of back-to-back meetings and deadlines. Then you had to juggle your daughter’s soccer lessons and your son’s guitar class, all while putting dinner on the table.

If your day has felt hectic to say the least, you’re not alone. We all need — and deserve! — a moment to wind down and relax from time to time, if not more often. That’s why I’m so excited about the latest new product to hit the shelves at select Walgreens: the WestLab Supersalt collection.

The WestLab Supersalt collection includes three different essential oil-infused salt blends — and I was lucky enough to get a chance to try them out! Check out my thoughts on each of these salt blends below, then get ready to pamper yourself silly with these relaxing bath salts!

WestLab Skin Repair Dead Sea Bathing Salt

WestLab Supersalt Skin Repair Dead Sea Bathing Salt | thegoodstuff

A powerhouse combination of dead sea salt, colloidal oatmeal, lavender, and chamomile, WestLab’s Dead Sea Bathing Salt is the perfect way to wash away all the anxiety and stress of the day.

Colloidal oatmeal is known as a natural healer, reducing redness and skin inflammation, while chamomile is a powerful antioxidant, removing free radicals.

My thoughts: Thanks to the lavender, which is antibacterial and anti-fungal, your skin will be softer, smoother, and more hydrated. I used this salt blend before bed — there’s nothing like a warm bath infused with lavender to put you to sleep. It doesn’t hurt that it made my skin feel super soft, as well!

WestLab Muscle Relief Epsom Bathing Salt

WestLab Supersalt Muscle Relief Epsom Bathing Salt | thegoodstuff

Had a long day at work or an intense session at the gym? Try WestLab’s Muscle Relief bathing salts.

It’s a blend of Epsom salt, arnica, spearmint, and eucalyptus. Arnica is known for being antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory, which accelerates the healing process. Spearmint is a natural exfoliator, while eucalyptus soothes your skin and helps relieve muscle pain.

My thoughts: This bathing salt has a soothing and invigorating fragrance. I’ve been suffering from allergies lately, and this worked wonders to clear my nasal passages after a long day. It’s also worth noting that the blend of mints and Epsom salt didn’t dry out my skin.

WestLab Body Cleanse Himalayan Bathing Salt

WestLab Supersalt Body Cleanse Himalayan Bathing Salt | thegoodstuff

The Himalayan Bathing Salt is a blend of rose, seaweed, lemon, and 84 different minerals. Rose flower extract is best known for its ability to treat inflamed skin, and the seaweed detoxes while the lemon cleanses and lightens any age or other unwanted spots.

My thoughts: I put a cup of this in my bathwater and really enjoyed it. The scent was very strong in the bag, but evened out and wasn’t overpowering once I added it to the water. My skin was softer and smoother in mere minutes.
