Glass: Martini or Coupe, chilled
Extras: Cherries for garnish (I recommend Toschi’s Black Sour Cherries)
Servings: 2 cocktails
Ingredients
- 6 ounces vodka
- 1-1/2 ounce vanilla simple syrup or use Torani’s vanilla syrup
- 6 black cherries
- 3-4 barspoons of cherry juice
- Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters
Directions
- Place vanilla syrup, cherries and cherry juice into shaker (no ice).
- Gently muddle the cherries enough to break cherries into bits and release flavor.
- Add vodka and ice to shaker and shake it. You should shake for at least 20 seconds.
- Strain contents into chilled glass. Top each cocktail with two drops of bitters only as the flavor goes a long way!
- Using barspoon, swirl bitters into cocktail.
