Editor’s Letter: July is for Memories with Friends & Family

Editor's Letter: July is for Memories with Friends & Family | thegoodstuff

When I was a little girl, I couldn’t wait for the 4th of July. In those days, you could do your own fireworks right in front of your house. We grew up in a neighborhood filled with kids, and every year I would go with my dad to buy some fireworks sold by the Lions Club (dad was a lion!). We would wait until it was dark, then all the families would come out and we’d hold our sparklers and watch the one big Piccolo Pete for the finale.

But the highlight of the night was when our whole family would go down the street to our neighbor’s house and we would have hot chocolate with marshmallows. Those marshmallows were a big treat for me! I remember it like it was yesterday.

So, when I think of July, I think of creating summer memories and sharing the simple things in life with family and friends. This month The Good Stuff will share with you everything you need to know to make July a great month!
