Easy Italian Sausage Soup

Easy and affordable to make, this Italian Sausage Soup is the ULTIMATE comfort food! Perfect for the chilly weather or a rainy day, mix-up the recipe by substituting Spinach for Kale and if you are a fan of hot, you can add Red Pepper Flakes along with Italian seasoning.


  • 1 LB Italian Sausage (links cut into pieces)

  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic, Minced

  • 2-3 TBS Olive Oil

  • 1/2 Diced Onion

  • Italian seasoning

  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional for extra kick)

  • 5-6 Cups Chicken or Veggie Broth

  • 1-2 cans White/ Northern beans

  • 1 bunch of Kale, chopped or Spinach


Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add sausage and cook until you don’t see any pink and they are cooked thoroughly. Add chicken broth then add the beans. Add the Spinach or Kale. Bring to a boil and cook until the spinach or kale is tender. Serve and enjoy!
