Is it beginning to feel a lot like Christmas yet?

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that this year is almost over, and the 25th of December is fast approaching. I have so much left to do before the holidays, and just not enough time to do it! This is the one time of the year where I think I’d really appreciate having a clone. (So I can sit on the couch and Netflix binge while my clone cooks, cleans, crafts, and shops.)

Sadly, modern science hasn’t yet figured out how to create a holiday clone, so I guess I’ll just have to settle for this Candy Cane Oreo Bark to get me in the spirit and get my feet moving.

Wait, did I say “settle?” Because a bite of this candy bark is anything but! All the flavors of the season come together in one bite-sized piece: creamy white chocolate, wintry peppermint, and the chocolate-cream swirl of Oreos. Whoo, if I wasn’t ready for the holidays before, I sure am now!

Alright, it’s time to dive into the holiday spirit! Grab your ingredients and get ready for a holiday flavor explosion!

Candy Cane Oreo Bark Recipe


• 2 1/2 cups white chocolate morsels
• 16 Oreos, chopped (about 1/2 a package)
• 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candy canes


1. Line a 9×13-inch baking tray with parchment paper, with extra paper hanging from the edges for easy lifting. Set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, add 1 cup of white chocolate into pieces and microwave in 30 second increments until fully melted and smooth.

3. Spread melted chocolate in a thin layer onto prepared baking tray using a spatula or knife. Top with crushed Oreo cookies.

4. Place pan in refrigerator for 10 minutes to harden.

5. As chocolate mixture is hardening, melt remaining 1 1/2 cups of white chocolate in the microwave until smooth.

6. Remove pan from refrigerator and spread remaining white chocolate over the top in an even layer, coating the entire pan. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over top.

7. Place pan in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until completely hardened.

8. Once candy bark is hardened, lift parchment paper and candy bark off of the pan and set on flat surface. Break candy bark into pieces by hand or using a knife.

9. Candy bark will keep in an air tight container for up to 1 month if left out, or in the refrigerator for several months.
