Sears Layaway is a flexible no-interest payment plan that allows you to pay for your purchase over a period of a few weeks or up to a few months by breaking down your total into several equal payments. Sears Layaway is a great way to lock in today's prices, even when you're shopping on a budget.

Sears Layaway offers eight and twelve week layaway plans for both in-store and online purchases. For the online layaway option, just add the items to your cart and set up the layaway process during checkout. For the in-store layaway option, simply bring your items to the register and the cashier will initiate the layaway process for you. For the eight week plan, a $5 service fee and a $20 or 20% (whichever is greater) are required to get the layaway contract started. About Sears

Sears was founded in 1886 as a mail-order company that only sold watches, but by the time their first catalog was printed in 1888, the company had expanded to include a wide range of products – including farm equipment – that appealed to rural shoppers.
