Many store brands offer great deals for customers who are looking for quality, value, and pricing. In fact, sometimes your savings are so great, it’s hard to imagine why you’d continue to buy brand names!
If you’re afraid of losing quality with a reduction in price, I’m here to tell you that most store brands still offer a high-quality product.
So, instead of paying more for a product similar in quality, why not save a few bucks on household essentials like paper towels and body wash by buying the store brand?
If you’re still hesitant to drop those store brand items in your shopping cart, I’ll be sharing my favorite store-specific items with you in my series that starts with Target’s Up and Up brand. 1. Unscented Baby Wipes 72-Count, $1.89
Parents know you can really go through these very quickly! Target’s Up and Up brand price is competitive and in many cases much lower than other brands that go for almost $3 for a smaller number of wipes.
2. Paper Towels, 99 cents
Finding a roll of individually-packed paper towels for under a buck is a great deal! Reviewers even say these paper towels are “stronger than expected,” so you won’t feel like you’re sacrificing quality for a better price.
3. One-Inch D-Ring Binder, $2.49
I just did a lot of research on school items, and one-inch binders can cost as much as $5. With Target’s Up and Up brand, you’ll find them regularly priced for less than $3, what a deal!
4. Sponges, $1.69
If you’re like me, you probably go through sponges weekly. Luckily for us, the Up and Up brand offers a fantastic deal: Four sponges for $1.69! That’s what I’ve paid in the past for just one sponge. Looks like it’s time to stock up!
5. Spray Bottles, 97 cents
Spray bottles at this price are not only a good deal, but you can use them to make your cleaning products last even longer. Just buy your favorite cleaners in the extra-large size (you’ll usually get a better deal per ounce this way) and fill these bottles up!
6. Hand Soap, 79 cents
If you’ve got busy kids, you know hand soap is something that runs out quickly with all those dirty hands! But at this price you can stock up and save — a similar brand-name item costs $4.89! As an added bonus, if you buy three you get one free through Target’s Personal Care Program.
7. Blood Pressure Monitor, $39.99
Most blood pressure monitors are upwards of $50, so at about 40 bucks you’ll find this price on an Up and Up brand wrist monitor to be significant savings.
Sometimes spending money on trash bags feels like throwing money away…literally! But they do offer convenience and make cleaning up much easier. Recent reviews say these bags hold up pretty well.
9. Women’s Multivitamin Gummies 150-Count, $10.99
Up and Up makes it possible to stay healthy and stay within a budget. These vitamins are well priced and, in many cases, much less expensive than other multi-vitamin gummies that cost more than $14.
10. Toothbrush 4-Pack, $3.94
At less than a buck per toothbrush, this Up and Up product is a great find! Stock up for travel, home, and even out of town guests who forget their own (it usually happens!).
11. SPF 30 Sunscreen 2-Pack, $9.99
I realized what a great deal this was when I saw just one bottle of sunscreen for $10. Keep on at home and put another in your car or keep it at work for spontaneous outdoor time.
12. Deep Moisturizing Body Wash 48-Ounce 2-Pack, $5.99
At about $3 per bottle, this body wash is a great deal especially considering it’s 48 ounces. Your next closest brand name buy would cost you $9.99 for two!
