1. Pepperoni Football Pizza Recipe

A Delish Football Pizza Recipe & 12 Football Party Snacks | thegoodstuff

This football pizza creation makes a fun centerpiece for your table, and tastes amazing, too. All you need is four ingredients and 20 minutes for tasty, pepperoni football pizza. Draft the kids to help you, they’ll think this is tons of fun! In fact, if you have leftover dough, why not make mini football pizzas just for them?

Ingredients

  • Pre-made pizza dough
  • Pizza sauce
  • Pepperoni
  • Mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Flour a piece of parchment paper placed on a flat cookie sheet and roll chilled dough into a football shape (oval). If the dough starts to warm up, place it in the refrigerator to cool it down.
  2. Spoon pizza sauce onto your dough. Layer pepperoni on top of the sauce, starting with the outline of your football and filling in as you go.
  3. Add a few extra pepperoni pieces in the middle to give it height — and extra taste!
  4. Bake your pizza until the dough is golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven.
  5. Cut thin strips of mozzarella cheese, one long and about five short pieces. Place the long piece in the middle of your pizza, parallel to the longest side of your crust, and then place the shorter strips perpendicular to the long piece of cheese. This will create your laces.
  6. Return pizza to the oven and bake for just under a minute. You don’t want to the cheese to melt too much since this will ruin the lace design!

2. Mini Corn Dog Muffins

Super easy. Just whip up your favorite corn bread muffin mix (or use a boxed one), fill mini muffin tins, and place a chunk of hot dog in the middle (one weiner can be sliced into five or six pieces). Bake as usual and serve with chilled ketchup. Yum!

This is a crowd-pleaser for sure! Each meatball features an explosion of flavor when you bite into it, and each one is especially tender thanks to the use of soaked bread. If you’re not a fan of soy sauce, rest assured this recipe features less of an Asian taste and more of a sweet, sour smokiness reminiscent of a barbecue sauce.
