Slow Cooker Spicy Salsa Chicken
This delicious chicken is so simple and tastes incredible! Spicy salsa combines with creamy cheddar and tops it all with zesty green onions. Serve on top of rice, or alongside corn bread for a truly delicious dinner!
1 ½ pounds thin-sliced chicken breast
2 cups spicy salsa
2 cups sharp cheddar
½ cup green onions, chopped
Place chicken bread in a 4-5 ounce crockpot. Top with salsa. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 5-7 hours. 40 minutes before serving, turn crockpot to high, sprinkle with cheddar and green onions. Place lid on crockpot and cook for 40 minutes, until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
