If you’ve ever hit the mall just to grab an ice-cold orange sipper (a.k.a. “Orange Julius”), you’re a person after my own heart. There’s something so scrumptious about that frozen, creamy concoction. When the weather gets hot, it’s the coolest (and tastiest) way to cool down.
Taking a bit of inspiration from this classic treat, I hit the kitchen and whipped up an almond milk milkshake with the tangy addition of mango for added flavor and creaminess. A bit of vanilla, a splash of honey, and this good-for-you treat is about to become your next five-minute favorite.
If you’re looking for an even thicker, soft-serve style “milkshake,” add one frozen banana to the mix and use just enough almond milk to move the mixture through your blender.
For a flavor twist, coconut milk also tastes delicious with this recipe, and a pinch of fresh ginger takes the taste over-the-top. Enjoy!
