Create Any Shade of Lipstick

You can make lipstick in any color of the rainbow with only two ingredients: Crayola crayons and coconut oil. To concoct your perfect shade, simply unwrap your crayon and cut it into several pieces with a knife. Add water to a pot and bring it to a low boil on the stove. Then place your chopped crayon pieces into a small bowl or jar and place it into the boiling water. Add a few tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil and stir the mixture until it’s smooth and completely melted. Pour your lipstick into a container and cool before using. It’s easy to adjust the formula of the lipstick to your preferences. Simply add more coconut oil to create a glossier and more sheer lip or add more crayon for a more pigmented finish.

Your Perfect Shade of Foundation and Bronzer

It can be difficult to find the perfect match for your skin tone in foundation and bronzer. To make your own powder foundation, simply combine cocoa powder and corn starch until the mixture reaches your ideal shade. The corn starch helps control oil production throughout the day to ensure a matte look. Once you’ve found the perfect ratio of cocoa powder and corn starch, split the mixture into two bowls. Add an extra teaspoon of cocoa powder to one of the bowls to darken the foundation to create a subtle powder bronzer.

Nail Polish in Every Color of The Rainbow

The soft texture of eyeshadow causes it to break easily. The next time your favorite eyeshadow crumbles, use the  broken eyeshadow to create a custom nail polish. Simply crush the eyeshadow in a small bowl and add the powder to a bottle of clear nail polish. You can mix and match eyeshadow shades or add loose glitter to create even more colors!

A Beautiful and Tasty Lipgloss Recipe

diy 2 ingredient lipgloss

This lipgloss recipe adds moisture and a sheer touch of sweet color to your lips. To make the lipgloss, simply combine petroleum jelly with any flavor of Kool-Aid powder. To create your perfect formula, adjust the ratio of petroleum jelly to Kool-Aid. Sheer and glossy lip gloss can be made by adding more petroleum jelly, and thicker and more colorful lip gloss can be created by adding more Kool-Aid powder.
