From the practical (batteries) to the nostalgic (Big) to the decadent (hot cocoa chocolates), here are my top 10 picks for rocking their stockings.
Of all the traditions this season stands for, stuffing my family’s stockings nears the top of the list of my all-time favorites, somewhere between baking gingerbread cookies with my mom and hosting my annual nachos Navidad dinner party for my girlfriends (stretchy pants required). While everyone has their own style of stuffing their loved ones’ stockings, I’m convinced that giving practical goods (and a few tasty treats) is the best route to go.
Here are 10 awesome last-minute ideas for stocking stuffers I’d love to find in my stocking—all readily available in stores and on-coupon!
Milk-Bones ($1-off coupon): Don’t forget to fill Fido’s stocking! Milk-Bones are a classic treat that pooches adore (and I adore how they look in a jar on my counter!).
Venus Razor Refills ($2-off coupon): I’m always out of Venus cartridges at the worst possible times (25 minutes before my date arrives, for example) mostly because they’re so expensive, which deters me from stocking up. Gifting a set of cartridges will ensure your loved one never ends up in a “hairy” situation!
MARS Holiday Bags ($1-off coupon): Nothing says Christmas more than stuffing handfuls of chocolates into a nearly-full stocking, am I right? I can’t get enough of the limited edition 3 Musketeers Hot Cocoa Minis. They are to die for!
Chex Mix Limited Edition Muddy Buddies Peppermint Bark (50-cent coupon): Crunchy, sweet, minty and oh-so-very addictive, this seasonal snack is destined to be devoured by the bag-full. Stock up now before it’s gone.
Big ($2-off coupon): Lazy holidays are made for re-watching old-favorites. This ‘80s classic, starring Tom Hanks, is a must-have for any feel-good film buff.
Millstone K-Cups ($1-off coupon): Keurig users can’t ever have enough K-cups; stock ‘em up so their favorite brew’s on-hand at home and at the office.
Funny or Die Game ($3-off coupon): The journalism major in me adores this LOL-inducing caption-meets-card game. Great for ages 13 and up!
Bioré Pore Strips ($2-off coupon): You don’t have to be a facial-addict to appreciate the gratifying (and kind of gross) effectiveness of these handy strips.
Energizer Batteries ($1 coupon): Because you know someone got a gadget, toy or game that’s going to need ‘em.
Glade Jar Pine Candles ($1-off coupon): Just because December 25th passes by doesn’t mean I don’t still adore the scent of pine candles. Glade’s are some of the most potent out there (really!), with a long-lasting burn time and delightfully pine-y fragrance.
