Looking for a good spring pick-me-up? A long, hot soak with these detoxifying bath salts will relieve water retention and stimulate circulation (especially when paired with dry-brushing). Try this triple-ginger salt detox bath DIY before a big event or whenever you’re feeling a little sluggish. The best part is making a batch takes all of two minutes! Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: To start, gather your ingredients. You’ll need: 1 cup Epsom salts, 1/3 cup baking soda, 2 tablespoons powdered ginger, 2 tablespoons dried ginger and 10 drops each of ginger and lemon essential oils.
Step 2: Grab a bowl and stir everything together.
Step 3: Transfer to an airtight container. Since I’m planning on gifting these triple-ginger salt detox bath batches, I’m storing these salts in small jam jars with about 1/2 cup of salts in each. When you’re ready to use, add 1/2 cup of the mixture to a hot bath and soak that stress away.
Before you shop: Detoxing from a night on the town? Add a portion of these salts to a hot bath and soak for at least 20 minutes. Make sure to have a glass of water or tea by your side to boost rehydration.
