It’s time for the big game, have you got your snacks dialed in?

Here’s one quick, simple, and cute — er, I mean awesome — idea. Chocolate-dipped Pringles, turned into footballs with a quick piping of white chocolate.

Whip up a batch or two of these with just one can of Pringles. Your total cost is less than $6 for this fun idea, and everyone at your Game Day party will surely give you a high five for these creative eats.

Though any potato chip will do, I love Pringles for their consistent size and texture. They also stood up well to the chocolate dipping. But when you make these at home, do be gentle when plunging into the melted mixture! “Kid gloves” are welcome with this kitchen craft.

Chocolate-Dipped Football Pringles

Yield: About 12 chips
Prep time: 15 minutes
Total time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 bag chocolate chips
• 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
• 1 can Pringles original chips (24-36 chips needed)
• 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (or 2-3 cubes almond bark)

Sprinkle in some savings: Save with Nestle coupons

Directions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until chocolate chips are melted and smooth.

2. Dip chips into chocolate, transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all chips are dipped, place in freezer or fridge to harden chocolate quickly.

3. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave white chocolate or almond bark in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until chocolate chips are melted and smooth.

4. Transfer to an icing bag or zip-top bag. Snip a small portion from the tip and pipe 4 small horizontal lines down the center of the chips, one vertically down the center of these 4 lines, and two large horizontal lines across the top and bottom edges of the chip, to create a “football.”

5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
