Hoisin-Bourbon Chicken Sliders
Bourbon adds a sweet note to this spicy hoisin slider. Use a rotisserie chicken and you’ve got a 30-minute meal! You could even make a double batch and freeze the extras for another night.
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- inch piece ginger, minced
- 2/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 Tablespoons bourbon
- 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sweet Thai chili sauce
- 2 cups shredded chicken

- Optional: Coleslaw and grilled pineapple slices

- In a 2-quart saucepan, heat garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, bourbon, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sweet Thai chili sauce to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Add shredded chicken to sauce in saucepan, stir to coat.
- Place about 1/3 cup chicken mixture on bottom of each slider bun; top with bun top.
- Optional: Add grilled pineapple slices & coleslaw.
