The Easiest Cream Cheese Danish Recipe You’ll Ever Make

Easy Cream Cheese Danish Recipe | thegoodstuff

When I was little, getting a pastry for breakfast was a huge treat. My parents were firm believers in cereal or eggs for breakfast, and pastries were generally kept for road trips or special occasions.

I always remember asking for a Cream Cheese Danish. There was just something about that flaky pastry dough paired with whipped cream cheese on top that made my day. I’d take a nibble and try to keep enough cream cheese frosting to have some with every bite. (That was a hard challenge, I usually just wanted to lick it all off the top!)

Flash forward to today and I’m still a sucker for a good Cream Cheese Danish for breakfast. Of course, I don’t always get a chance to head to the coffee shop or bakery to grab one. Traffic is crazy and I’m late for work!

But now I have this perfect Cream Cheese Danish recipe to make on the weekends. I love how Pillsbury Crescent Rolls make this so easy — no years spent under the tutelage of a French pastry chef needed! I’ll get my Cream Cheese Danish fix right away. Yum!
