Baby, it’s getting cold outside.
If you’re like me and dread shivering nonstop until you can escape into a building that’s pumping out some real heat, there are a few hacks you can try to keep warm this fall.
If I know I have to walk outside, one of my favorite tricks is to grab a hot drink to carry along with me. This keeps my hands nice and toasty, and I can let the steam warm my face, too. (Carefully, though!)
If your office’s lunchroom seems to still be stuck in A/C mode (like mine is) and you find yourself wishing for your snuggie during your 9-5 stint, this Chili-Stuffed Cornbread Pot Pie can warm you right up, too! If this recipe sounds complicated, trust me, it’s not. You only need two steps to make this hot n’ hearty treat: Top your chili with cornbread, then bake!
You can use your freshly baked or reheated Cornbread Pot Pie as a miniature fireplace and heat your hands with it, or just dig right in if work has left you ravenous. Either way, you’ll warm right up!
