Alabama

Dates: August 7-9
Eligible Items

  • Clothing and shoes: $100 or less per item
  • Computers, computer software, and school computer supplies: A single purchase with a sale price of $750 or less
  • School supplies, school art supplies, and school instructional material: $50 or less per item
  • Books: $30 or less per book

Arkansas

Dates: August 1-2
Eligible Items

  • Clothing and footwear: $100 or less per item
  • Clothing accessories and equipment: $50 or less per item
  • School supplies, school art supplies, and school instructional materials

Connecticut

Dates: August 16-22
Eligible Items

  • Clothing and footwear: $100 or less per item

Florida

Dates: August 7-16
Eligible Items

  • Clothing and accessories: $100 or less per item
  • School supplies: $15 or less per item
  • Personal computers and computer-related accessories: First $750 of sale price

Texas

  • School supplies and backpacks: Under $100 per item

Eligible Items

  • Clothing and footwear: $100 or less per item
  • School supplies: $20 or less per item
  • Some Energy Star products, hurricane preparedness items, and generators are also eligible on this tax weekend
