How does Vistaprint work?
Vistaprint offers a wide range of stationery templates for business cards, invitations, banners, documents and more. Their online editor allows you to handpick all the customization details – including fonts, ink color and paper type – as well adding your own graphics to your creations via their web upload tool.
Vistaprint's design platform then shows you a print preview of what your finished product will look like. If you're not satisfied, you can repeat the design process until you are. Once completed, choose the printing options you want for your product along with how many copies you need. Vistaprint then prints the products for you, packages them and sends them via regular mail or various parcel carriers.
There are many online reviews of Vistaprint available from current and former customers. You can search for those to get an idea of how their experiences were. Of course, you can also try Vistaprint for yourself. If you're not completely satisfied with your experience, Vistaprint will gladly change or refund your purchase.

Vistaprint was founded in Paris, France in 1995 by Robert Keane, who still serves as President and CEO of the company. Originally, Keane only planned to market business cards, but soon expanded his product line to include address labels, company letterheads, postcards and other stationery products.
Keane's goal was to give smaller businesses access to the same professional level of printing services that established companies had, without having to spend a fortune to do so. Keane's business plan worked and soon, Vistaprint had acquired smaller printing firms across Europe and continued to expand the company's reach.
Today, Vistaprint holds over 200 patents in the mass customization industry and continues to offer premium printing options at a fraction of the cost of their competitors. Vistaprint currently serves more than 120 countries worldwide and has an employee base of 5,100 across their multi-national headquarters and service centers. Vistaprint is owned by Cimpress, an online printing conglomerate based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
While it can be said that most all online printing companies compete with Vistaprint, their main competitors are the larger chain stores who also offer online printing options – like OfficeMax, Staples and Kinko's.
You can contact Vistaprint at 1.866.614.8002 Monday through Friday from 7am until midnight, Eastern Time – and from 8am until 6pm Easter Time on Saturdays and Sundays. Alternately, Vistaprint also has a live chat option and email contact form via their website as well.
