Installing Coupon Printer
We hope you’re enjoying all the savings available to you when you print coupons using our Coupon Printer and the CouponBar. Remember, these programs do not collect any personal information and have no adware, no trackware, and no spyware of any kind. You’re always in control!

If you need to uninstall either program, instructions are provided below. When you want to reinstall them, just visit www.coupons.com and select and print some coupons—you’ll be asked to download and install the programs again.


Uninstalling the CouponBar

Step 1:
Click the "Start" button (typically located on the bottom left corner of your screen); then click "Control Panel".

Step 2:
In the Control Panel, double-click "Add or Remove Programs".

Step 3:
Find "CouponBar" in the list, then click the "Change/Remove" button to uninstall the CouponBar.

Internet Explorer 7.x (Windows)

Step 1:
Open Internet Explorer, click on the "Tools" menu, and select "Manage Add-ons: Enable or Disable Add-ons".

Step 2:
Select "Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit)" from the "Show:" menu.

Step 3:
Select "cpbrkpie Control" from the list and click the "Delete" button.

Step 3 Alternate:
If you are not able to find cpbrkpie in the "Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit)", navigate to your Windows directory (C:\WINDOWS by default). Depending on your Coupon Printer version there may be file(s) labeled "cpbrkpie.ocx" and/or "CouponPrinter.ocx". If present, right click on these and select "Delete".

Step 4:
Restart Internet Explorer.



If you have an older version of the software you can leave it on your computer, it will not affect your coupon printing or your computer. If you want to remove the old files, download and run the new installer, then follow the uninstall instructions. The uninstaller will remove the old and new software in accordance with our License Agreement.

Internet Explorer 6.x (Windows)

Step 1:
Open Internet Explorer, click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options"

Step 2:
Click the "Settings..." button located in the "Temporary Internet files" section.

Step 3:
Click the "View Objects" button

Step 4:
A new window will appear displaying downloaded program files. Right click on the file labeled "cpbrkpie Control" and select "Remove" from the pull down menu.

Step 4 Alternate:
If you are not able to find cpbrkpie in the downloaded program files list, navigate back one directory (to C:\WINDOWS). Depending on your Coupon Printer version there may be file(s) labeled "cpbrkpie.ocx" and/or "CouponPrinter.ocx". If present, right click on these and select "Delete".

Step 5:
Restart Internet Explorer.

FireFox (Windows)
Step 1:
Right click on the "Start" button (typically located on the bottom left corner of your screen); select "Explore" from the pop up list.

Step 2:
Select the "Program Files" directory to view a list of the installed programs.

Step 3:
Find and open the "Mozilla Firefox" folder (Default path: C:\program files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Step 4:
Open the "Components" folder and locate the file named "npcpbrk7.xpt".
Right click on this file and select "Delete".

Step 5:
Next select the "Plug-ins" folder and locate the file named "nccpbrk7.dll".
Right click on this file and select "Delete".

Alternate:
If you are not able to find navigate to C:\WINDOWS. Depending on your Coupon Printer version there may be file(s) labeled "cpbrkpie.ocx" and/or "CouponPrinter.ocx". If present, right click on these and select "Delete".

Step 6:
Restart the FireFox browser.

Netscape (Windows)
Step 1:
Right click on the "Start" button (typically located on the bottom left corner of your screen); select "Explore" from the pop up list.

Step 2:
Select the "Program Files" directory to view a list of the installed programs.

Step 3:
Find and open the "Netscape" folder (Default path: C:\program files\Netscape\).

Step 4:
Open the "Components" folder and locate the file named "npcpbrk7.xpt".
Right click on this file and select delete.

Step 5:
Next select the "Plugins" folder and locate the file named "nccpbrk7.dll".
Right click on this file and select delete.

Step 6:
Restart the Netscape browser.

Safari (Mac OS X)
Step 1:
Click on the "Finder" icon to open the Finder window.

Step 2:
Select the local hard drive from the Finder window to display the drive's contents.

Step 3:
Locate and open the "Library" folder.

Step 4:
Locate and open the "Internet Plug-Ins" folder from the Library.

Step 5:
Select the "Coupon.plugin" file and move it to the trash.

Step 6:
Close and restart the Safari browser.
