IDEA 7: Fruit Sushi
Turn ready-prepped or leftover sticky rice into a simple, delicious snack. Costs less than traditional sushi, and more fun to eat.
• 1 (7.4 ounce) container pre-cooked Asian sticky rice
• 2 tablespoons sweet sushi vinegar
• 1 strawberry, cut into thin slices
• 1 kiwi, cut into thin slices
• 1 small slice mango, cut into thin slices
Heat sticky rice container in microwave on high for 60 seconds. Open container. With slightly moistened hands, roll the rice into 8 one-inch rice balls. Place on a plate, drizzle with sushi vinegar. Top with a slice of fruit. Serve with chopsticks and enjoy!
